2nd Level Technical Support Engineer

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to be part of a leading team and take on a role that involvesnd level application support for different tools & applications (ESB & Sterling) combined with basic Database administration. At the moment, our team is growing, looking forward in taking more technical responsibilities.

We manage several projects/services in our Team, working with different platforms & Applications. All the services are interconnected, which gives you the possibility to diversify your tasks and learn new things.

Your team

The team members are vibrant, proactive, and always there to help you when in need. Most of the team members are mid to seniors, experience-wise, and always ready to help.

Your role

• Ensure that the database platform and all its supporting tools are up and running and help users and colleagues with their incidents
• Perform central & de-central Deployments, OS checks, Service Restarts, Create Changes
• Maintain close collaboration with our Dev Team
• Ensure via proactive work that the Application databases are error-free and the data is correct
• Run daily and weekly batches with the help of SQL, Jenkins & other different custom tools 
• Create, Delegate & Resolve Tickets for our German Customer

Match your skills

• Incident Management knowledge, good client approach, willingness to learn
• Experience using ticketing systems and a good comprehension of Databases processes
• Basic .xml knowledge
• Basic Linux knowledge (nice to have)
• Jira knowledge
• Speak Fluent German 

Willing to develop

• Basic Jenkins knowledge would be nice to have, but we are also willing to invest in developing
• Basic SQL & Database knowledge
