Accountant

Voestalpine Romania SRL is looking for an  accountant to perform general accounting functions. We are looking for a fast learner, who can take over required tasks and responsibilities in a short period of time and is used to work independently. Furthermore we are looking for a person who is used to meet tight deadlines and can resist work and time pressure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the day to day accounting requirements
• Analyzing actual results to reconcile financial accounts, taking responsibility for all balances and resolution of queries
• Performing monthly account reconciliations (including intercompany transactions)
• Ensuring compliance with local VAT, tax and other regulatory filings
• Preparing different internal reports
• Providing assistance during financial and tax audits
• Communication and coordination with Regional Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Economic background (graduate of Academy of Economic Studies or similar)
• 3+ years strong computer experience – MS Office
• Strong Excel skills
• ERP system application experience
• Good analytical skills
• Good command of English language (comprehension, written and speech)
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Organizational and time management skills
• Professional and with a service-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize issues
• Good communications skills, both oral and written
