Accountant – on behalf of our client

What we are looking for

On behalf our client, a leading international vertically integrated fertilizer producer, we are looking for an Accountant.

This is a unique opportunity for an Accountant eager to develop their career to be part of our client’s newly created entity in Bucharest.

Role and responsibilities

Working together with the Chief Accountant, the Accountant is responsible for day to day accounting activities. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping, personal drive and proactivity.

Key responsibilities:

• AR invoices drafts posting and providing to customer in cooperation with back-office, after chief accountant approval
• AP Trade invoices posting
• Post bank payments (OPEX, outgoing trading, incoming)
• OPEX invoices posting
• Processing business expenses
• Collecting documents to be sent via post to customers
• Collecting transport documents and maintaining them in proper order
• Maintaining accounting documents , ensuring all files are up to date and in proper order

Candidate profile

• Higher education in Economics, Tax or Accounting
• Solid accounting knowledge
• 1-3 years of working experience as an Accountant
• Experience with an ERP system – working knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Good command of English skills
• Result oriented
• Self-motivated person, eager to acquire experience and develop a career in accounting
• Previous experience in the agribusiness industry will be considered an advantage.
