Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Tax warehouse accounting responsible - tracking, analyse and deal with daily issues which at Lehliu Plant; provide professional assistance to Industrial team in order to complete various tasks; review of taxpayer cards;
  • Provide professional expertise to Service Centre teams to successfully implement the changes in RO legislation regarding excise duties in order to be compliant with specific domestic/EU regulations;
  • Provide finance and business support to Industrial team to Lehliu and Buzau Plant;
  • Analyse certificates of insurance for third party warehouses - team-up with Credit team;
  • Ensure that all the legal registry required be Romanian legislation regarding tax warehouse (. VAT exemption for oil transfer into the Tax warehouse - monthly purchases and delivers in/out tax warehouse) are kept and put in place accordingly in order not to have gaps that can affect Bio business continuity;
  • Prepare, sign and submit monthly Customs returns in connection to excisable products for both Tax warehouse (Biodiesel) and Crushing plant (Hexane) – nominal Customs;
  • Review, sign and submit monthly/specific returns (eg VAT, WHT, CIT, excise);
  • Propose exceptional adjustments regarding to correct registration of stocks;
  • Contribute to new financial projects as part of the overall finance function / project manager;
  • Review and centralize documents in order to complete TP file; assistance in preparation of TP file (provide explanations and back-up documentation to TP team in order to have a better overview of specific ICO transactions);
  • Provide professional assistance during internal or external Antifraud/Tax/Customs audits (verify the transactions in SAP in order to be able to collect and provide back-up documentation to justify the accounting entries);
  • Professional assistance in preparation of specific reports for obtaining Customs licenses (Tax warehouse & End user);
  • Act on-spot for solving discrepancies/any issues between BBS and local teams;
  • Insurance PDBI: Collecting information, preparing them for submission;

 

Requirements

  • Technical skills and education

University degree in Accounting / Economics;

Relevant experience in statutory accounting (OMF); US GAAP exposure would be a plus;

3-5 years expertise in accounting position;

MS Office, ERP; SAP knowledge would be a plus;

  • Soft skills

Very good communication skills (written and verbal);

Positive, “can-do” attitude;

Diplomacy, tact, integrity and common sense;

Team player;
