Accounts Receivable Manager

We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join the team and to provide leadership for this function from our Mumbai office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to make their mark and take on responsibilities in an international business with customers around the world. 

This role will report to the EMEA Finance Controller and work closely with colleagues in our other global offices to ensure prompt debt collection whilst maintaining good relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Defining the Global Accounts Receivable processes and procedures
• Managing an Accounts Receivable team of five
• Ensuring timely billing of Sales orders, liaising with the Sales and Customer Service teams
• Ensuring aged debt is collected promptly, and that any issues are resolved effectively
• Monitoring billed revenue and chase missing information to enable timely invoicing to clients
• Ensuring SMART objectives for team members, providing coaching and support in achieving them
• Supporting the team when issues need escalating with clients
• Providing regular billing and debtor summaries to finance leadership and business teams
• Explaining movements in debtors for key products for business divisions
• Ensuring relationships with key stakeholders are well managed and collaborative
• Working to streamline systems and ensure effective controls and processes are in place.
• Making sure all Month end activities from closing of AR to Balance sheet reconciliations are completed
• Prepare quarterly sales commission statements for Sales team   

We are looking for:

• Experience in leading a Global Accounts Receivable team
• Demonstrable understanding of how to improve debt collection
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively with colleagues
• Proactive in problem solving and keen to drive change and make improvements
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good attention to detail
• Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Previous use of NetSuite financial systems would be desirable
