Mission:

 Position holder takes the Development for metallic components for Mobile Fluid Lines - MFS Technology; New Products and New Processes - Guidelines and Analyses - Patent and Benchmarking - Cost Improvement;

Main tasks:

•  Support for global team to drive for expertise and results;
• Follow KPI's to ensure results on time and budget;
• Grant QUALITY FIRST approach with 4eye principle at major/defined/established development gates;
• Act on Development of new products and processes to ensure technology leadership of MFS in the area of metal components for mobile fluid lines;
• Follow CT PLC regulations to ensure defined process / IATF / local QA-Certification requirements;
• Support Concept evaluation, DVP&R, DFMEA, Tolerance stack-up, Pareto Search, Risk Analysis;
• Hold timeline and PREQ requirements;
• Develop End forms that meet customer requirements at lowest possible component - and process-effort;
• Update specifications, drawings, guidelines, lessons learned to constantly have latest information in official status per definition, . FIDES;
• Drive developments to clear targets, . Gate 60/to finalization so that serial projects can be quoted;
• Support drive of conceptional ideas to patents and/or unique selling points;
• Technical cooperation with our component-suppliers to support new developments and cost improvements;
• Review developments and components with suppliers and operations to understand and question defined dimensions and tolerances;
• Support/Activity in connected technical fields at MFS; Test field, Prototype shop, Operations;
• Support/Activity in other Divisions or Business Units;

Job Requirements:

• Technical University Degree;
• Business English fluent, technical communication skills in English;
• Professional experience in the Automotive Industry;
• Professional experience in the area of Development in metal manufacturing (min. 5 years);
• Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work;
• Ability to work independently and also in a team;
