Advanced Quality Planning Engineer

Job description:

Ensures high customer satisfaction for our premium products for carlines such as: Daimler, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, VW, Volvo and others.

Job responsibilites:

• Plays an active role in establishing the product’s characteristics and defining the quality targets in collaboration with the project/program manager and other designated departments
• Create/develop and implement specify quality concepts and actions to assure the stated quality standards for new developments;
• Performs APQP assigned tasks in each phase of the project/program according to PEP (Project Execution Plan) contributing to the successful launch of products
• In case of nonconformity, initiates root cause analysis, implements adequate corrective measures and tracks their efficiency
• Develops, plans and ensures product and process quality control through means of standardized methods: FMEA, control plan, measuring & traceability concepts, defining the characteristics for capability studies.
• Collects, monitors and uploads in the portal the PPAP/PPF documents in order to obtain Green PPAP/Score, according to customer requirements
• Defines, according to customer requirements, the testing matrix for requalification purposes
• Manages process/product internal audits according to VDA
• Manages up until the project/program handover to the series quality responsible

Job requirements:

• University degree in a technical field;
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar positions an three years in automotive industry;
• Relevant experience in automotive quality;
• Demonstrated knowledge of automotive quality standards: IATF 16949
• Quality product certificate (VDA ) and quality process certificate (VDA )
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality instruments: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, 8D, Ishikawa CC/SC, customer specific requirements.
• SAP knowledge, Quality module
• IMDS (International Material Data System) knowledge
• Omologation knowledge/ managing OEM portals
• Advanced command of English language/intermediate level of German language is an advantage
• Change management
• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, goal orientation, customer orientation (internal/external)
• Ability to coordinate an analysis team
• Work in international team on innovative products; Willingness to travel, local and international
