Aircraft Performance Engineer

Desired Candidate Profile:

• English - Advanced Level
• Presentation and Communication skills
• 3+ Years of experience in Flight Physics
• Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Flight mechanics or fluid mechanics in the aeronautical domain
• Knowledge in operational and/or reglementary performance with a first experience with a design office
• An experience in the following domain: flight mechanic, aircraft performance or flight test is appreciated
• Development and maintain large code in Python
• Daily OS used: Linux
• Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel (VBA and charts)
• Customer oriented

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with France Performance team to ensure quality of the deliverables
• Data production for Flight Management System (under DO-200A norm)
  • Utilization of Airbus tools on Linux
  • Data analysis during production
  • Data validation with Airbus specific tools
• Low Speed and Airfield
  • Regulation analysis: production of certification documents
  • Operational analysis: production of Airbus development studies
  • Failure Cases data production, aim to analyze the systems lost impact
• Function Development into python language aim to automize the workflow
