Analyst, Financial Planning & Control

Role purpose: 

Development of tools and structures for financial control of the VF Tower Business (Tower area) in the Local Market. Managing FP&A activities in Local TowerCo and providing financial insights to support strategic decisions. Responsible and driving a new finance and controlling process.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities: 

• Responsible and development of  high quality budget planning, forecast, reporting and analysis
• Development of new TowerCo controlling structures and interfaces to other areas
• Check compliance with the measures on the basis of regular analysis and take countermeasures in the event of deviations
• Ensures compliance with Group reporting requirements and acts as SPOC between Group reporting and local teams( accounting, tehnology)
• Advising on current developments and proposing suitable measures
• Creation of transparency for the management of the Tower area
• Create transparency for the management of Vodafone
• Supporting the departments through active opportunities & risk management
• Regular monitoring of the Opex & ODC development and the underlying drivers, as well as the exclusion of structurasssl risks
• Development, control and management of projects
• Showing, developing and evaluating possible modifications in cooperation to improve the achievement of goals
• Agreement and tracking of measures with the departments to achieve the individual goals
• Creates ad-hoc analysis, reports or presentation requested by direct manager/ senior management

Required experience and qualifications:

• University degree
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships at a high level (SLT as a customer)
• In-depth knowledge in the areas of controlling and accounting
• Strong management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Holistic business evaluation of projects taking commercial and technical aspects into account
• Good knowledge of the telecommunications industry and telecommunications infrastructure
• Min. 5-7 years of professional experience
• Business fluent English
• Interdisciplinary knowledge
• Finance qualification would be an advantage ( eg. ACCA, FCA)
