Android Developer

For our business partner, a fast-growing software company, with a passion for developing software solutions designed to make people's daily lives easier, using the latest technologies, we are looking for a creative Android Developer to join their young and dynamic development team in Bucharest.

You will be part of a passionate and respected team with innovative projects running across the mobile world.

Responsibility:

• Become a part of the development team to design and build Android mobile applications
• Follow coding best practices and provide feedback on pull-requests
• Help to solve problems that can occur in production applications (including security risks and bugs)
• Help maintain high code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Be up to date with the latest technologies provided by Google and Android community, and apply them to the benefit of the products.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement of software delivery processes and outcomes

Requirements:

• At least 4+ years of previous experience, developing native Android applications with Java and Kotlin.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with outside data sources and APIs.
• Familiarity with Firebase monitoring tools and Google Play/app release process.
• Experience with third-party libraries (local persistence, network handling, dependency injection, etc.)
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• To be open-minded and eager to find out more about modern technologies and how to use them
• To pro-actively seek solutions and come with proposals to improve and optimize
• Excellent communication and people skills, attention to detail;
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
