As an Android Software Engineer, you will work on different parts of the Android System UI framework and you will create best-in-class Android applications.
What you will be working on.
- Develop features from design to delivery
- Build Android applications with a high quality standard
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work closely with the UI/UX design team
What you offer us.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable skill
- 3+ years’ experience in building mobile apps for Android using Java or Kotlin
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Android SDK
- Object oriented software development experience with a solid grasp of algorithms and data structures
- Experience creating reusable components with elegant, intuitive API interfaces
- Experience creating user interfaces for embedded devices: graphics/windowing SDKs, fonts, haptic interfaces, internationalization and localization
- Experience with Android unit and UI tests
- Experience using debuggers such as DDMS, gdb
- Proven strong understanding of software design - technology, methods and approaches
- Passionate about technology and software development
- Very good English written / spoken level – mandatory
