Clinical Application Specialist - Monitoring Analytics & Therapeutic Care
In this role you have the opportunity to
Deliver clinical, educational and operational support to our customers and our sales teams. You will play a vital role in the development and overall growth of the market, through the promotion and education of valuable Clinical Decision Support tools to our customers. You will act as the link between our solutions and the customer’s clinical needs while helping them to achieve the quadruple aim of healthcare.
The Clinical Specialist is a customer facing role in which you team up with a Solution Architect, Technical Expert and Sales Person to position Philips products, solutions and services to meet the customer’s goals. Working collaboratively with the team and customer, you design the clinical education and services portfolio based on a thorough understanding of the customer’s need and workflow. The scope of services may range from basic product training to complex consulting engagements that are related to one or more Philips products. The ultimate goal is to provide the customer with a comprehensive education package that clearly demonstrates the value Philips’ clinical services can offer to enhance their experience with the product.
You are responsible for
- Driving business growth through the promotion and education of relevant clinical decision support tools and value added services from our Monitoring & Analytics solutions;
- Supporting sales and marketing teams in pre- and post- sales product demonstrations and assessments to understand customers’ key stakeholders needs;
- Planning and executing clinical educational programs for customers around our solutions;
- Becoming a trusted advisor for customers and supporting them in the design and improvement of workflows in their clinical setting, adapting to their most pressing needs;
- Providing both clinical and technical support for tenders, solutions, education and application;
- Overseeing the aftermarket services to ensure user adoption of technologies and other clinical services.
You are part of a team of passionate and experienced professionals in the field of Monitoring Analytics & Therapeutic Care within the Connected Care cluster of Philips Health Systems. You will work in collaboration with Modality Sales teams, Partners and Customer Service in the development of solutions around our monitoring and analytics business for the critical care environment (CCU, ICU, OR).
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- University degree (ideally in medical, nursing or equivalent in allied health discipline);
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical environment (preferably in hospital setting);
- Relevant clinical background (ICU/Clinician) or full understanding in the clinical/technical domain area of integrated monitoring solutions for Critical Care and Anesthesia;
- Strong collaboration skills within a multinational environment;
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills;
- Self-motivating with hands on mentality;
- High level of business acumen;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Must have a valid driver’s license & willingness to travel extensively.
