We are looking to recruit for one of our clients – a company with over 40 of experience in independent Information Technology services business, the position of
APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER
Level of expertise: Middle and Senior level
Location: Iasi
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- at least 2 years experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics 365;
- excellent understanding and knowledge of core Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules;
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification;
- good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle;
- Microsoft Azure understanding;
- strong understanding of Finance and Operations (AX);
- previous experience in supporting Java and .NET applications;
- strong knowledge of Web Services;
- working knowledge in writing/reading HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript;
- basic understanding of AGILE/SCRUM methodologies;
- identify and solve, automation and process improvement;
- good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly to both IT and business staff;
- good analytical skills, structured and methodical approach;
- highly organize, with the ability to plan ahead for short to medium term objectives;
- strong listening, verbal and written communication skills in English.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main roles and responsibilities of this position include:
- the maintenance and utilization of full suite of the application (data storage and integrated applications);
- management of information relating the understanding of the future changes in the business and priorities that will affect the application, to customers/end-users, colleagues and 3rd parties;
- creating documentation in order to explain and describe the primary application and any interfaces to other applications;
- support and advising users who need information and support around the primary and associated applications, putting his/her knowledge in layman’s terms;
- providing cross application support;
- testing of new functionality and integrations in the applications;
- ownership of support calls and incident resolution using ServiceNow.
