Area Sales Manager – Bucharest
We are looking for candidates with Passion and Can do attitude for position of Area Sales Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare the Sales Business plan and objectives for the sales area in order to achieve area and country targets; and ensure that these are re-enforced at sales territory level.
- Manage, coach and develop the individuals in the team according to agreed criteria, through regular field visits, competence assessments, management information and performance measures.
- Contribute to the creation, circulation and implementation of the budget and forecast for the sales area to ensure that the planned growth reflects the real market potential.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and administration as required by Sales and Marketing Director.
- Monitor business performance of the sales team according to commercial standards to ensure effective and efficient management of the sales resources.
- Monitor department’s cost indicators in order to follow the internal strategy and the company plan
Skills & experience
The candidate should have:
- Business acumen and knowledge of DHL’s services
- At least two years of Field Selling experience
- Exceptional and demonstrable record of delivering against targets
- Excellent communication skills – ability to interact at all levels
- Selling, hunting and negotiation skills
- Solution Orientated and Innovative
- Excellent Planning and Organizing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), database and web-based applications
- Fluency in English & Romanian (spoken and written)
- Driving License
