RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of MS Office – Excel proficiency;
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
- Experience with Romanian accounting systems (SAGA or others).

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

- Current up-to-date knowledge of accounting and standards;
- Ability to deal tactfully, confidently and in time with internal and external customers;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task;
- Very good problem solving & troubleshooting skills;
- Results driven, focused on delivering quality work;
- Ability to work in an international environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

GRAITEC is looking for full-time Junior Accountants, willing to be part of a successful and competitive team. Our new colleagues will get the opportunity to participate in the department's duties on monthly financial transaction reporting, by working close together with other passionate people from the group.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist the external accounting service provider with month-end, year-end closing, reports and other legal formalities;
- Participate in the department's duties on monthly financial transaction reporting with the specificity of registration and analysis operations;
- Maintain contact with all internal suppliers, places orders, registers invoice and makes payments;
- Register customer invoices and collect receivables;
- Record and reconciles treasury transactions, bank statements and expenses reports;
- Manage petty cash transactions;
- Verify accounting operations to identify errors and make corrections;
- Participate in the annual inventory and audit process;
- Monitor regular and correct invoicing to customers;
- Check accuracy of pricing and identify wrong invoices;
- Archiving documents and files;

- Entering financial transactions in the internal databases;
- Applying accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with the applicable standards;
- Handling phone calls and e-mails as needed;
- Assist with the treatment of logistic, commercial or technical problems.
