ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: Operations Finance Manager

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: Regional 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Support the development of Next Generation Products Cost Of Sales reporting and ensure it is embedded within Business As Usual processes and reporting
• Running Cost of Sales reporting on a monthly basis, for all markets in the Europe & North Africa region, across New Categories products
• Prepare analysis on forecast and actuals, with insights on variations
• Monthly variance analysis of regional NGP COS and support End Markets in COS reporting.
• Ensure NGP savings are correctly reported and tracked monthly.
• Understand the business model of NGP and the financial flows between the entities, looking the consolidated picture
• Manage the project initiatives across operations at a monthly level: preparing the calculations on the latest volumes, savings, fluctuations
• Checking the P&L elements in regards with the product
• Acting as a key contact for queries from various departments

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• University Degree
• Qualified or semi-qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) will be considered as an advantage
• Experience with the Cost of Sales reporting, in a similar working environment
• Planning & Reporting experience will represent a plus
• English language proficiency
• Excellent influencing and communications skills with ability to interact with all levels of senior management
• An ability to work effectively across all staff within the company and externally
• A self-starter who can identify options to solve new problems and challenges
• Understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, especially SAP and BPC
• Business understanding and awareness of all other functions and their collaboration with finance
