Automation & Orchestration Cloud Engineer

OMV PETROM Global Solutions IT is looking for an experienced and talented Automation/DevOps Cloud engineer to provide the right technical guidance in new Cloud integration projects and take the governance of our existing IT Cloud infrastructure landscape to the next level. In this role, you will indicate, develop, implement and maintain the technical Cloud automation solution/s for the new business demands, improve the overall governance of important Cloud Enterprise applications/resources portfolio, hosted on hybrid cloud and on-prem and off-prem.

You will deal with areas such as Private Cloud, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and hybrid integration between on-prem applications and Cloud products.

You will be a key player in our organization’s digital transformation and be part of creating the future of OMV Group IT.

Responsibilities:

Identify the opportunities for Automation & Orchestration in the new Cloud upcoming projects.

Act as a Cloud DevOps engineer in a hybrid Cloud environment.

Design and implement Cloud automated integration/processes.

Provide hyper-care operational support for migrated applications/services from onprem into Cloud.

Identify improvments of current infrastructure/applications landscapes via Cloud automation.

Acts as IT analyst in projects by transforming business requirements into technical specifications.

Maintains the Cloud applications & systems landscape for Corporate & Group-wide IT services

Requirements:

Minimum 3 year of experience within Dev/Ops and/or IT Automation & Orchestration.

Background in both Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

Experience with automation/configuration management tools using Puppet/Ansible/vRealize Orchestrator or an equivalent.

Knowledge of coding/scripting ( Powershell, Perl, Java, Python, Unix shell scripting).

Experience with public cloud infrastructure is a major plus (Azure or AWS).

Expertise on technologies like Cloud SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Virtualization, WAN and LAN networking, SAN, *nix, WinTel.

Good analytical skills / problem solver

Good understanding of the ITIL framework.

Fluent in English.

These constitute a plus: Technical project management experience , ITIL v3 certification.
