Automotive Dealer Support

Position Overview 

We are looking for an Automotive Dealer Support for one our automotive project in Sibiu. Our future colleague will be part of our team in a part-time job (6 hours) that are involved in maintaining customer environments

Responsibilities:

• monitoring of customer HW (servers, PC and special devices) on availability, workload, upcoming updates (customer specific software / OS);

- Check correct process of customer software:

• Successfully Database dump (Oracle);
• Checking of the download share;
• Successfully data uploads to central systems;
• Check current used software version being up-to-date for each customer;
• Update of the devices after up-to-date check according with the contact person at customer;
• Check installed updates are complete, successful and work;
• Write and send a maintenance mail / or update ticket with results to customer, contact person(s) (content: realized/open maintenance/support tasks; updated software for each device);
• Create a system protocol to document installed software on the devices;
• Produce screenshots to document a device state.

- Support of the customer software environment:

• New installation of the applications on server, PCs and special devices with considering customer guidelines;
• Customer support at technical problems with his infrastructure (saving and interpreting logs, reasoning from error messages);
• Assistance in opening support tickets at 1st level support of the software manufacturer (contact for customer and software manufacturer);
• Tracking of the opened and processing support tickets.

Skills:

• Very good knowledge of German language (reading, writing & speaking skills);
• Certain handling of TeamViewer, Word, Excel;
• Working on own solutions of errors reduction at customer side;
• Reading and interpretation of log files;
• Good OS knowledge;
