Automotive Engineer with German

We are looking for an automotive engineer, to join our team in Brasov and to be part of a project that analyzes the results of the tests done for road assistance software functions. Our team here is working closely with the colleagues in Germany on analyzing the errors following the tests performed on HiL Test benches, in order to identify whether the results comply with the requirements of the customer (an important car manufacturer).

Responsibilities

You collaborate with the HiL tests provider, analyze the error codes and further perform the modifications needed, until the customer requirements are met. In order to achieve that, your responsibilities will be:

• Receive the requirements through ticketing system
• Analyze the results of the test-cases, that do not comply with the customer requirements
• Based on the analysis, a new file is created, that goes again to testing phase and the results are again analyzed, until the customer requirements are met
• Create defect tickets through Jira if the error is related to software
• Close the tickets and propose the release of the software

Tools used in the project (will be learned during the induction): specific tools for automotive industry.

Requirements

• Master or Bachelor degree / Engineer in the fields of electrical engineering, automotive engineering, information technology or computer science 
• Technical background and passion for cars
• Self-responsible, autonomous and detail-oriented
• Good understanding of the car functionalities
• Previous knowledge in bus communication protocols is desirable 
• Working proficiency in German, English at conversational level
