About technologically stack
They have to stay nimble while delivering mission-critical code. To do so they constantly prioritize keeping both – the stack and the codebase lean.
They build simple, reliable systems on top of technologies they understand and trust. They’re primarily built in PHP using MVC principles, and they rely on MySQL and Apache to keep things running.
The server is cloud-hosted using AWS and they operate a robust infrastructure structure environment to ensure minimal downtime and high reliability for the transactional system.
The team is lean, and they deploy many times a day, supported by a test suite they trust and a culture of code review.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with PHP (OOP) in a consumer-facing, transactional, technology-driven organization
- Experience with LAMP / WAMP (Linux, PHP, MySQL, Apache)
- Comfortable writing complex deployment-ready code
- Familiarity with server management (AWS, Linux server configuration, and networking concepts)
- Experience of PHP micro-frameworks as well as templating engines
- Experience in transactional and eCommerce systems. The company hands millions in payments daily and service thousands of customers. You need to know how to build scalable and robust code.
- Experience in consuming APIs (AWS, Stripe, Sendgrid, Twillio and more) as well as developing RESTful APIs
- Preferably a university-level degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics.
- Fluency in English
