Job Profile

The back-office sales representative will be responsible for supporting customer service functions and providing support and work in conjunction with outside sales (compiling quotes and bids, managing leads, etc.). This position will be responsible for selling and promoting Eurofins Food & Feed Testing in Romania. The position’s primary responsibility will be to develop and grow existing relationships into larger business deals and effectively prospect to uncover new opportunities for the Eurofins testing business.

Will assess new accounts and develop assigned accounts:

  • Use of overall sales methodology, processes, tools, and virtual communication;
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to coordinate resolution of customer issues regarding services, pricing, lead-times, or quality;
  • Manage assigned accounts and provide Eurofins solution opportunities to highlight competitive advantages, proactively involve the necessary internal resources to effectively manage those opportunities and set the standard for customer service excellence to develop those accounts under own responsibility;
  • Develop meaningful relationships with key internal and external contacts, utilizing primarily virtual communication methods;
  • Establish customer prices as necessary and prepare/present quotations within pricing structure to maximize profitability.
  • Will support Sales Account Managers, as assigned, to help grow the portfolio and add value with identified key accounts:

  • Work closely with specific Sales Account Managers to add further value to the key account relationship;
  • Gain detailed insight into key account activities, services and projects needs to proactively support the key account;
  • Ensure service levels and communication to key accounts are at an superior level;
  • In collaboration with Sales Account Managers and Country Leader, develops and implements market penetration plans and activities to achieve targeted sales growth for Sales Accounts at a rate and profit margin consistent with the strategic business plan;
  • Perform and contribute as a member of the Strategic Account Team or Key Account team.
  •  Will sell Eurofins services to maximize profitability and increase market and customer share:

  • Stay knowledgeable of competition;
  • Add value to our services through creativity, service, and strong relationships;
  • Utilize the CRM system to manage sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business or related field (or equivalent work experience);
    • 2 years sales growth experience preferred;
    • Working knowledge of web-based and other software platform for sales growth preferred (CRM, Salesforce, etc.);
    • Minimum knowledge of the food industry;
    • Ability to achieve sustained results and drive new business opportunities;
    • Proficient with presentation tools and related technologies;
    • Sense of urgency and drive to generate results in a fast-paced, evolving environment;
    • Effective time management skills;
    • Strong ability to work independently, naturally curious, customer focused, accuracy, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, flexibility, problem solving, detail orientation.
