What we're looking for

We are looking for a BI Business Analyst who will continuously improve the structure and efficiency of existing BI & CRM systems by analyzing customer needs & requests.

In your daily activities you will partner with clients by advising them how to use information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems and perform implementation cost analysis for new features. 

What you'll be doing

• support projects deployment teams in particular on the following streams:
  • Offer Incident and Information Request Management,
  • Trans-coding process
  • BI Tools Users Management
  • Recurrent extractions
  • Development of Excel macros using VBA
  • Create and execute SQL requests
  • Troubleshooting issues related to data and identifying the root cause or escalate to next level when needed.
  • Migration projects
• perform change-management activities
• make customizations, tests and monitor functionalities
• investigate and solve customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems, and handle customer complaints or any major incidents; ensure that end-users have no longer questions after the incidents are closed.
• improve customer service procedures, policies and standards for your organization or department
• contribute with proactive ideas to the evolution of the BI portfolio
• participate to daily, weekly or monthly meetings for project tracking (working in sprints)
• make data quality checks, report errors and provides solutions for data quality improvement
• review the existing business procedures, design documentation, interface documentation and makes updates
• transfer project knowledge to main point of contacts in the agreed time frame

What you need to know / have

Professional Know-How :

• Previous experience in working with BI solutions; Tableau knowledge is a plus
• Basic knowledge in Unix / Linux, SAS, Teradata
• Knowledge of Databases and SQL
• Fluent in French and English: mandatory
• MS Office knowledge: advanced level
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to data and escalate to next level.
• VBA knowledge for writing Excel macros is considered a plus
• Excellent Communication, Presentations, Customer facing skills

Education or equivalent experience:

University degree in Cybernetics, Economics, Telecommunication
