Business analyst

Role:

Reporting to the Finance Controller you will be responsible for identifying and driving business outcomes by providing predefined financial analysis, modelling and contributing to the development of new processes and improvements. You will work with both local Romanian leaders and management in the development, preparation, analysis and presentation of profitability and performance reports along with conducting deep dive financial analysis on actual performance.

As a business analyst you will:

• Be involved in planning of a leading financial risk management platform

• Participate in the process of identification and analysis of new requirements

• Translate requirements into specifications

• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks

• Assist with complex accounting transactions (. business combinations, impairment testing, etc.) and provide guidance to Company associates

• Assist with specific testing and documentation in connection with statutory audits

• Regular reporting and communication and coordination with regional and or local Finance Team to complete deliverables

• Analyze and present to Corporate Management the effects of newly issued accounting standards, as well as write related accounting policy

• Month-end close and reporting

• Preparing annual budgets and tracking performance 

• Scenario analysis in order to enable correct forecasting

• Driver of profitability analysis
   

Skills and Qualifications:

• BA degree in Accounting is required with at least 2 to 3 years finance experience, audit experience preferred

• Critical thinking and excellent problem solving skills

• Strong project management, organizational skills coupled with attention to detail in fast paced environment

• Written and spoken English is must

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
