Business Analyst

Cegeka has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join us in Bucharest.

General activities:

• Define business requirements and provides counseling and support in extracting business needs;
• Conducting business interviews to identify data needs - data domains, data entities, attributes (measures / dimensions) needed for reporting;
• Translates business requirements into functional specifications and system design specifications according to set standards, including data modelling, workflows and business processes;
• Suggest the best business solution and analyze the ability to change of the application environment, assesses the impact of changes of existing environment: application, infrastructure and operations;
• Offering support to the development teams inside the department;
• Assist other IT roles with requested information during the implementation phases.

What you need to bring:

• Minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar position;
• Strong understanding of databases and Business Intelligence and their processes;
• Data query capabilities in SQL server;
• Knowledge of methodologies and tools for analysis activities;
• Ability to document / define interface specifications and reports specifications based on requirements;
• Ability to interpret and / or write system documentation and technical specifications;
• Analytical ability to ensure comprehensiveness and detail level articulation in analyzing and specifying of functional details;
• Proactive attitude and communication ability at all levels in the organization explaining abstract concepts quickly understanding;
• Very good English skills (both oral and written) ness needs;
• University degree - preferable computer Sciences or related technical disciplines;
• AS400 query knowledge would be a plus;
• Previous experience in the insurance field would be a plus.
