Job Details

 

The Integrated Supply Chain Organization has an important role to play as they serve as the primary support to customer facing functions.

As member of the SIOP team, the SIOP business analyst identifies gap in the historical business data versus the plan, and highlights the area of deep dive to support demand planners discussions with other functions. He also runs analysis related to the inventory, securing proactively the demand plans can be delivered, and preventing critical excess or Inactive, Obsolete and Surplus (IOS) inventory risks

 

2.         Principal Responsibilities

 

Reporting

  • Develop analysis of data upon request, create format and highlights for easy sharing with other members of the team
  • Identify gaps in the plan and document them to support market intelligence capture by demand planners
  • Facilitate comparison of the demand plan to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) by aggregating / desegregating at different level for analysis
  • Support integration of customers forecast into the plan. Provide forecast accuracy analysis, review of exceptions and performance tracking
  • Support Inactive, Obsolete and Surplus (IOS) inventory tracking and liquidation activity. Analyse proactively inventory at risk and support actions plan to create outflow – glide slope
  • Improve New Product Introduction (NPIs) tracking to improve availability of goods in the ramp up phase, support early detection of deviation to the plan
  • Make data upload and download from and to systems for requests and planning.

 

Continuous Improvement & HOS

  • Applies HOS methodology, quality standards and process compliance in day to day activities
  • Highlights process deviations or exceptions, ensures best practice sharing and initiates process improvement opportunities where required

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Excel proficiency
  • Good knowledge of SAP / BI environment will be a plus
  • Ability to validate data quality
  • Ability to drive root cause analysis where the KPI is missed and present recommendations to business owners
