Business Analyst - Timisoara

What you’ll do

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the development cycle in the ABACUS/GMP area while maintaining and extending our product

• Since you will be joining a dynamic team that develops functional content you will have to keep in touch with the colleagues working in the other teams in Austria
• Analyzing regulations and/or business/client specific requirements
• Designing, implementing and testing requirements, new features or software improvements
• Knowing how to assess the current implementation of the regulation/requirements and identifying areas of improvement
• Defining user stories in terms of the Agile software development process to be implemented by the development colleagues
• Identification and tracking of defects in test management tools such as JIRA
• Produce reasonable test cases and quality test data
• Working closely with colleagues at all levels and skills of the organization
• Preparing design documents and concepts
• Write accurate documentation that will be used for knowledge-sharing purposes inside or outside the team

Why we should decide on you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Mathematics
• Very good level of English; German is a plus
• Functional and business knowledge related to accounting and regulatory reporting; experience in regulatory reporting of banks would be a plus
• Basic knowledge of software testing including Test automation tools; having a Tester certification would be a plus (.: ISTQB)
• Affinity to IT and past exposure to technologies such as XML, SQL or BitBucket would be a plus
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle would be welcomed
• Familiarity with Windows and Office products
• Flexibility towards being part of an Agile working environment; experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Being part of an Agile team, you will need to have a team player mindset by constantly promoting communication, learning, growth and accountability
• Willingness to occasional travel to the Austrian headquarters
