Business Developer Petrochemical Products

Main responsibilities

• Takes the lead for identifying and realizing petrochemical business development opportunities including green coke and sulfur in the sense of strategic orientation and development of business goals;
• Develops a profitable and sustainable business strategy, business model and business plan and ensure successful implementation thereof;
• Shapes the future of the business by continuous innovation, continuously improving business model, operational excellence and performance of Management Petrochemical products;
• Advices the Management in all issues related petrochemicals business development;
• Manages the operationalization of the strategy into initiatives, analyses pro-actively all the business development initiatives;
• Sets out the strategic fit of Petchem business development activities and supports qualitative decision making;
• Integrates the Petchem Business Development activities within the other areas of the company;
• Adapts the existing operating model for the delivery of new business opportunities;
• Advices the senior leadership team in setting strategic portfolio targets and monitor the portfolio performance targets;
• Responsible for all future developments of the Petchem production in cooperation with the Refinery Projects act as subject matter expert regarding market trends, pricing, logistics, supply/demand balance etc.

Job requirements

• University and Master degree in one of this area: Petroleum and Gas, Engineering, Petroleum Technology and Petrochemistry combined with Economic Sciences;
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience leading and directing multi-disciplinary teams in an oil and gas industry, Strategic Supply, Petroleum technology and Petrochemistry minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic business programs and products development;
• Demonstrated private-sector experience in the development and implementation of change management programs and services within the context of sustainable business models
• Highly developed knowledge and understanding of oil and gas technology standards globally and their understanding of the petrochemical markets and products, its competition in the industry and positioning
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and presentation , creative, energetic, to establish and maintain effective cross-organizational and cross cultural relationships
• Excellent English and Romanian proficiency
