As Business Development Manager, you will plan the activity to reach the monthly objectives for sales, costs, profit, debt recovery from customers, stock turnover rate, as well as the performance indicators of the Retail department. Implements short, medium and long term sales strategies. Open new sales channels, develop new customers, also maintain and develop the clients from the assigned portfolio.
The role will be based in Bucharest, Romania, reporting to Business Unit Manager Retail.
Key responsibilities:
• You will contribute to the fulfillment of the monthly sales and monthly profitability objectives allocated within the Retail department;
• You will contribute to the fulfillment of the specific objectives for the allocated Strategic Products;
• You will also contribute to the monthly fulfillment of the performance indicators regarding the level and seniority of the department's debts and also the stocks of the allocated products;
• You will have to develop new customers, new routes to the market in your assigned area;
• Also you will have to contribute to the implementation of the marketing strategy of the department;
• Be responsible for understanding the specific needs of distributors and end consumers in terms of product range, price level, communication / promotion materials. Establish concrete actions to meet these needs;
• Also be responsible for monthly monitoring and reporting of market developments and relevant competition activities; propose, establish and apply concrete actions to respond the actions of the competition;
• You will be responsible for adapting the product range to the specific needs of the market;
• You will have to prepare monthly reports regarding products sold and customers of the Retail department; also you will prepare ad-hoc reports required by the Sales director and other parts;
• You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal level of professional training and technical support for all colleagues involved in the sale of assigned products; And also you will coordinate the professional training (product training / sales) and technical support for all customers;
• Identify new business development opportunities to maximize the level of penetration on the market and negotiate the contracts allocated within the Retail department;
• Be responsible for the management of complaints from your customers.
You will be our choice if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales management;
- Knowledge about security products or associated with security products is an advantage;
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills;
- Self-motivated person;
- University degree required;
- Driver license – B category
- Availability for business trips over 50% of the working time;
- Strong communication and presentation skills both verbal and written;
- Strong skills in MS-Office (mainly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint);
- Fluent in written & verbal English;
- Keen on carrying high responsibility and looking for successful realization of creative ideas;
- Demonstrated strong ability to drive challenging sales processes and achieve targets;
