Business Intelligence Analyst

Telenav  is looking for a highly motivated BI analyst candidate to drive various activities impacting business and financial reporting:

• Identify and track important metrics on existing and new products while streamlining product related data collection and delivery
• Streamline revenue and vendor royalty reporting from various internal and external systems with a focus to maximize information accuracy, timeliness and reliability
• Define and implement data governance standards and strategies to improve data quality boosting stakeholders’ confidence in data
• Review existing business processes and reports to assess their effectiveness and relevance with current business focus, identify design and information gaps and document required changes for implementation.
• Assist with business critical trend analysis and insightfulness
• Implement business processes, reporting, and reviews to ensure proper accountability exists across all lines of business
• Requires supporting Oracle and Tableau environments for data management and presentation, ETL processes using Python, and engaging with Amazon RedShift data sources
• The ideal candidate has been awarded an MIS degree, is excited about data, analytics, process improvement and finance. You will be reading legal contracts, business requirement documents and technical documents to build your understanding of the Telenav business model and then take a deep dive into doing the above activities
• Ability to mine data and clearly articulate trends, choice points, and associated financial impacts

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar
•  MIS degree, or degree in Computer Science or MBA with a focus on or an undergrad degree in Information Systems
• Experience working with Oracle
  Experience working with Amazon RedShift
• Experience with Tableau, including building reports and dashboards
• Experience in data processing, ETL, and system connectivity
• Experience performing system and process analysis, decomposing high-level information into details, and documenting business requirements
• Expertise in SQL scripting and experience with business intelligence tools
• Experience working in a data driven environment requiring data mining and analysis
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and change gears quickly
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
