Acumen is a Belgian Business Intelligence specialist. In Timișoara, we have our centre of excellence for Business Intelligence Development and Continued Care. We develop and support solutions for reporting and planning challenges using BI tools.

We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team and grow in the field of Business Intelligence

What is it about? 

As part of our team, you will support and develop BI solutions. This will give you the opportunity to learn and grow by using a range of tools such as Microsoft SSIS, Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics, Microsoft SQL Server and others. Over time, you will participate in different assignments and clients. Your first assignment will consist of ETL development in MS SSIS and various support tasks.

Your main responsibilities:

• Specialize and gain in-depth knowledge of ETL development using Microsoft SSIS.
• Understand and learn modelling concepts as Kimball and DataVault.
• Support existing workflows and assist client users when needed.
• In everything you do, communicate properly and professionally.

It would be great if:

• You like solving data-driven problems using technology;
• A professional mindset and a lot of common sense define who you are;
• You can think from another person’s point of view;
• You can communicate properly in English both in writing and orally;
• Taking responsibility for your work is the only way;

Any knowledge or interest in the following is a plus: 

• An ETL technology like SSIS, DataStage or PowerCenter;
• A database technology like MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or others; 
• A general understanding of how databases, a computer network, a scripting language, an OS, etc, work.
