What you will be doing as a Business Controller Food Division- 1 year contract

• The core focus of the Business Controller activity is to perform analyses to provide visibility on the drivers of the business performance and to support decision making for Food Division. This will be done through the following activities;
  Monthly closing and build P&L for Food  Division, provide information and explanations for business overview
• Active involvement in the monthly closing process· Check and reconcile monthly US GAAP P&L;
• Ensure that the results are explained and consistent with the business;
• Provides financial details and explanation for monthly management reporting;
• Analysing actual results and identifies potential risks and possible solutions;
• Monitor and control prices, promotions and rebates;
• Performing various analysis regarding the Food area results (profitability analysis by brand, by market segment ,brand P&L);
• Support business in order to take the right decisions (ad hoc reports, comparisons, analysis, advice etc);
• Continuously monitor and checking data in SAP;
• Ensuring accuracy and  compliance with SOX requirements as communicated by the Group policy;
• Active participation in the annual Business Plan process and monthly forecast;
• Prepare all necessary analytical reports related to Sales / Cost of Sales and ensure consistency;

The position is based in Bucharest and part of a regional team of 8 people. It will report to the Packaged Oil Europe Softseed Finance Partner, located in Kruszwica- Poland.

You are pro-active in addressing and solving potential problematic situations, adjusting your priorities and schedule, if necessary. Furthermore, you do also like to manage rigorously the necessary financial and reporting tasks, paying proper attention to ensure compliance to Bunge rules.

 What else do we expect? 

•  University degree- preferably with a major in Finance, Economics or Accounting
• At least 3-4 year of experience in a similar position for other companies, preferably in agri-business or FMCG in an international company
• English - intermediate level as a minimum
• Excellent communication skills
• MS Office- intermediate (especially Excel knowledge)
• SAP knowledge is a plus
