C/C++ developer for 5G core test engine

We are looking for an ingenious Software Engineer passionate about Networking to work on developing 5G core protocols.

We are building emulations for 5G core nodes with the purpose of testing the 5G core for conformance, functionality and performance. We are writing hardware-agnostic, Linux userspace applications that can run in any cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

·         Participate in the analysis, design, development of the Next Generation Core Network protocols;

·         Develop new features for the 5G core test engine;

·         Contribute with new ideas and methods to continuously improve product quality and development efficiency;

·         This position will require interacting with various teams, project managers, leads, testers and other developers in order to understand the features, prioritize, plan, design and implement the required protocol and to deliver high quality monthly releases;

·         Work closely with customers on requirements and deliverables; 

Skills:

·        Experience with Linux programming and debugging;

·        Good knowledge of  C and C++ programming language and OOP concepts;

·        Multithreading

·        Good Networking knowledge and in-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocols;

·        Good algorithms/data structures knowledge;

·        Knowledge of scripting languages (python);

·        Experience with version control tools(git, perforce, etc)

·        Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies;

·        Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment;

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

·        Performance driven and having a proactive attitude;

·        Agile/Scrum experience;

Bonus skills

·        Previous experience with LTE/Wireless protocols is a plus

·        Linux Kernel programming is a plus

·        Some Full Stack / Web development experience is a plus

·        Some experience with Windows programming and with .NET/C# programming language is a plus
