C# Senior Software Engineer Remote

We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our Service Management team! The Service Management team is responsible for the design, development, and support of platforms that enable groups across Cerner to manage and provide support to our clients, from client-facing portals to core IT and business service management functions.
As a Software Engineer III, you will be writing and configuring code for new and upgraded solutions in accordance with technical specifications.
You will be responsible for writing code, testing and debugging new software and making enhancements to existing software from clear requirements. You will participate in code reviews and identify basic issues or deviations from best practices, and you'll develop a knowledge of assigned solution, technologies, development processes and ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering; or related field, or 4 years relevant work experience
• Plus 4 years experience/higher education, including at least 1 year software engineering work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on C# and .NET Core development experience;
• Practiced at the development design of interactive applications, preferably using React;
• Experienced with SQL and database managed application development overall;
• Excellent knowledge of system design;
• Leader in modern engineering practices and approaches: from testing to delivery;
• Experience with ITIL and/or Service Management-related tools prevalent in the industry.

• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position;
