Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Create drawings in AutoCAD® & SolidWorks® 2D/3D
Built and verify geometric 3D CAD models
Advise and consult on best machining approach
Generate CNC programs for milling & boring machines with CAMWorks® and 3D CAD models
Validate simulations and create tooling lists
Prepare measurement reports for machining activities
Requirements
Higher level technical education
Experience using CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD®, SolidWorks® and CAMWorks®
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Experience with dimensioning and tolerancing, knowledge of ISO8015 is an advantage
Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
Ability to understand 3D geometries and to create them
Personal Skills
Verbal and written ability in English language.
Excellent technical spatial insight.
Problem solving attitude
Flexible and eager to learn
Able to relate to colleagues from management to shop floor
