Job Description

Mission:
Creation of CAD data from CAD customer data according to Continental standards, as well as creation of hose and pipe constructions adapted in the respective customer vehicle environments

Main tasks:
- Coordination of data transfer via DXM system;
- Using CAD-System Catia V5 for Design purposes;
- Design of AC lines and their subassemblies; 
- Creating design proposals during the bid solicitation phase (RFQ);
- Preparing for the presentation (in PowerPoint) of data files received from customers;
- Checking the construction space in a machine / engine (eg narrow points);
- Creating the EK part number in SAP, and corresponding database;
- Providing ContiTech AC CAD, AE and sales support;
- Organizing simulation requirements;
- Preparation of projects for the development of development gates according to the program established with clients;
- Creation of 2D customer drawings in accordance with OEM’s (Customer Standards) requirements;
- Assisting the client, together with the CAE and Simulation Departments, in finding technical application solutions;
- Verification of standard specifications, respectively of customers, in terms of implementation;
- Development, together with the AE and CAD departments, of design concepts and proposals;
- Creating 2D drawings in terms of customer specifications and tolerance requirements;
- Providing assistance in creating D- and P-FMEA;
- Prepare customer specific Documents for customer APQP system;

Job Requirements

Technical University Degree 
Business English fluent, technical communication skills in English 
Professional experience in the Automotive Industry, in design or development department
Demonstrated experience in CAD and PLM systems (CATIA preferred)
Ability to work independent and in a team
Communication and problem solving skills
