The Finance team supports Mega Image in realizing its ambition by offering a stable and sound financial environment, by running effective and efficient finance processes, with strong project and change management and by delivering relevant and insightful information and decision support. As the Mega Image Finance team, we are responsible for amongst others Business Services Finance, Finance Business Partnering, Business Planning & Performance, Business Processes Management, NFR Sourcing and Risk Management & Internal Control. We do this with a dedicated team and enthusiastic finance professionals.
Currently we have a great opening in our Business Services Finance team, for a Capex Manager. The Business Services Finance team acts as a provider of finance services to the business in all finance areas (Accounting, Reporting, Taxes, Treasury, Finance related Retail Operations) and as initiator of changes and continuous improvements across the organization, for all processes with a financial component.
As Capex Manager you will coordinate and play an active part in financial and management reporting activities.
Your role will be to:
- Take responsibility for ensuring the Asset Ledger is kept up to date and accurate, including loading asset additions and disposals, revaluations, track asset movements and ensure accurate financial information accounted for in general ledger
- Be the expert for the company in all matters pertaining to fixed assets including providing technical guidance, creating processes to enhance efficiency and compliance and systems transaction support
- Prepare fixed assets stock count schedules, assist the involved third parties in their inquiries and assure the accuracy & completeness of the final inventory results
- Represent the company during any audits by a government that involve fixed assets
- Offer support during the external audit process
- Prepare and submit the statutory financial statements and others statistics reporting
- Coordinate and prepare the periodic standard management reporting
- Provide support and prepare information related to fixed assets during budgeting process
- Financial analysis on current portfolio of assets, including budget variance analysis
- Manage the development of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, decision modeling, reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives;
- Review the accounting transactions in order to ensure proper classification of transactions according to accounting standards;
- Participate in financial systems updates
- Participate in implementation of new accounting standards and procedures
- Initiate changes and continuous improvements for business and transactional processes
- Identify areas for improvement and implement action plan to improve the efficiency of the accounting and reporting processes and maximize the performance of services provided
- Contribute to lead finance projects as appropriate.
- Participate in business projects and promote those projects that can add value to business
You are our ideal candidate when you have:
- Master degree in Finance or Economics;
- related finance qualifications are an advantage (. CFA, ACCA)
- Able to apply knowledge to complex projects and processes
- Good communication and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work and communicate with colleagues across all business areas of the organization and with senior management
- A critical and analytical mindset, with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
- Expertise (as a user) of SAP is an advantage;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Strong planning & organisation skills, prioritisation and time management;
- The ability to understand and analyze complex problems;
- 4+ years relevant experience
- Fluent in English
