Mission to be accomplished:

  • Leading and coordinating the Cards Services support Team to administer and support activities of the IT credit card services and platforms in accordance with the defined specifications and SLAs.

Assuring the development, implementation and execution of the IT strategy aligned with business needs

Mission board:

  • Leads and manages a team of IT Support Engineers and IT Application Owners;
  • Coordinates, supervises and monitors the team's activity regarding the provision of services in accordance with the agreed SLAs, organizes the activities and workflows, ensuring the performance, quality and timely delivery of the allocated resources;
  • Ensure the necessary resources within the team so that the processes take place according to the agreed parameters. Is also responsible for measuring, analyzing and reporting process performance indicators for the activities of the team;
  • Supports project objectives, enabling creation of solutions that are reliable and are fitting not only the business requirements but also the IT Operational standards;
  • Constantly monitors the professional evolution of the team members and establishes a personal development plan for them;
  • Provides consulting on its own area of expertise within projects, participating in the analysis, testing and implementation of new services or functionalities of services in the area of responsibility and in carrying out the necessary operational work procedures before entering production;
  • Builds and maintains connections with stakeholders in IT and in the Business departments, ensures that the team has a fair understanding of purpose, responsibilities and deliverables;
  • Responsible for coordinating procedures and response plans to disruptive situations that may affect business continuity

Skills

  • + 5 years of experience  in IT Application  Support/IT Operations  (min. 3 years in leading and coordinating teams)
  • working knowledge of ITIL and experience in leading these processes across an organization
  • experience with operations and maintenance of credit card solutions, including: card management and payment solutions, ATM/MFM management and monitoring, merchant and POS management, mobile and web platforms and technologies, database, analytics and personalization technologies, integration strategies and solutions, infrastructure, cloud and automation technologies
  • Good understanding of modern architecture solutions such as micro-services, event-driven architecture, API integration and gateway, data lakes, containers

Nice to have :

  • Leadership skills and ability to communicate a vision that inspires and motivates people
  • Experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to senior leaders
  • Team management skills
