Job description:

Budgeting the category turnover, profit, inventory, logistics
-
Build the category portfolio: products, suppliers / vendors
-
Monitor the market: trends, players, prices, margins, turnovers, demands, customer behavior
-
Attract vendors and potential multichannel suppliers for online (selling products through our own online platform) + offline (letting units in the commercial park)

Implement and manage suppliers
-
Negotiate the commercial terms with vendors
-
Preparing marketing plan, including product launch together with vendors into all relevant markets
-
Monitor the performance of vendors and products to ensure that they meet the required standards
-
Working closely with the vendor / supplier stock team to ensure all promotions and new lines are available on time
-
Negotiate and manage support from vendors / suppliers including evidence, invoicing and cash-in
-
Analysis of sales, orders, clients demands and acts accordingly to meet the targets
Ideal candidate:
- University Degree, preferably in Economics, Marketing, Management or similar or proven track record and commercial expertise in modern retail
-
Good knowledge and experience in purchasing, sales and product / category management
-
Knowledge of selling category or categories/multicategories: distribution channels, products, margins, suppliers or vendors
-
Confident, ambitious, a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment and agility to remove obstacles
-
Previous retail experience in buying/selling; hypermarket/cash&carry/hard-discount/DIY;

Communication, presentation and negotiations skills - proven track record of closed deals and / or partnerships
-
Ability to start from scratch and build on, based on a clear directive
-
Net understanding of retail business (business models, margin construction, categories building)

Uses creative thought process - on product, promotions, deals and so on
-
Relationship builder based on a close human collaboration and inter personal skills
-
Very good command of English

Advanced MS Office user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
