Your Role:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the specific accounting department
- Supervise and successfully completes the process of month and year-end tasks in line with statutory and regulatory guidelines and group policy
- Ensure accuracy on the statutory, tax and regulatory reporting
- Treasury management and coordination of daily activity based on company’s needs and business requirements
- Maintaining and developing banking relationship
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Responsibilities:
- AP/AR/CA accounting activities coordination and supervision
- GL accruals and provisions – prepare and ensure completeness, cutoff and matching principle
- Handling treasury operations and bank relationship activities
- Corporate taxes (income tax, withholding tax, dividend flow) and other statutory returns preparation and VAT reporting supervision
- Service level agreements: executes procedures for charging between legal entities and documents the transfer pricing file;
- Review and preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with local law and regulations
- Preparation and coordination of regulatory reporting (ANCOM, Statistics, NBR)
- Monthly financial reporting in line with group policies
- Gross margin analysis and evaluate the financial position of the company
- Lead, support and complete the external financial and tax audit process
- Create process and flow for maintaining the Group strategy per company
- Design, implement, follow-up any proposal/procedure for improvements of accounting techniques and methods;
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system
Required Skills/Experience:
- 8 years in financial field, out of which 3 of experience at a senior level
- Certified Public Accountant, ACCA, Management Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor /Financial Analyst is an advantage
- Accounting, tax and supervisory rules and regulations
- Statutory, regulatory and management reporting
- Ability to deal tactfully, confidently and in time with internal and external stakeholders
Competencies:
- University degree in Economics
- Proactive attitude for preventing and solving financial and accounting issues
- Organizational talent and planning skills
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Strong attention to detail
- PC literate, especially level of Excel – Advanced
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Time management and work under pressure
- Results Oriented
