Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Provide financial and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate month-end close and financial reporting processes. You will continually expand your expertise as well as demonstrate your abilities to bring superior organizing and leadership into your daily activity at Philips Orastie.
You are responsible for
- Staying updated with changes on statutory rules and regulations (close cooperation with experts from Big 4 companies) to be able to assess business impact;
- Providing accurate, completed & timely data for statutory reporting, fiscal reporting and other requirements;
- Managing on local level Operating Model for Statutory Reporting/CIT;
- Monitoring & preparing monthly statements on equity positions for group consolidation;
- Ensuring that non-recurring transactions are properly accounted, documented and that they pass their audit reviews;
- Establishing (local) policies & procedures for statutory accounting & reporting, including statutory accounts;
- Designing & adjusting statutory processes, procedures, document flow & controls;
- Being first contact point for external auditors. Fulfilling requests from regulatory & tax authorities - provide support during fiscal audits;
- For Holding: Manage accounting of global GSA agreements;
- For Holding: Supports with footnote information on the Annual Report.
You are part of the Accounting Operations CEE Team.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance;
- 6+ years’ experience in accounting/finance related roles including minimum of 2 years in a senior positon (coordinating fiscal audits);
- Very good working knowledge of MS Office; additionally, SAP knowledge is required;
- Good knowledge of Romanian accounting tax requirements and regulations;
- Working experience within the manufacturing/production environment would be preferred;
- Good communication and influencing skills, team player;
- Management and leadership skills;
- Fluent in English;
