Civil & structural senior design engineer

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Reports to the department manager;

- Liaises with clients and a variety of professionals including architects, subcontractors, etc

- Undertakes complex and repetitive calculations;

- Teaches junior engineers and leads teams of other engineers;

- Preparation of conceptual, basic and detail engineering packages;

- Preparation of BoQ;

- Site survey, Field engineering support;

- Technical support for procurement work for project implementation;

- Cost estimation and relevant documentation for proposal / total investment;

- Other specific tasks as required by the company.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or Master of Science diploma in civil engineering (Checker license will be a plus);

- Relevant experience in civil/industrial buildings and equipment design;

- Knowledge of most of the concepts, practices and procedures within civil/industrial constructions field;

- Very good knowledge in civil/industrial buildings and equipment design;

- Very good knowledge of discipline Romanian and International standards;

- Good knowledge of using structural and element design: Advance design (Graitec); Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis; Etabs (CSI Berkley)

- Good Revit and AutoCAD skills, knowledge of using CAD software for element detailing (Advance Concrete, Advance Steel- Graitec/Autodesk);

- Abilities in using Microsoft Office package;

- Very good verbal and written communication skills;

- Ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly;

- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and assess solutions

- Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate;

- Good command in English / A good working knowledge in English;

- Team player, self-motivated and ambitious of unquestionable personal professional integrity.
