About the job:

Visma IT & Communications AS is now looking for a passionate Cloud Architect to strengthen the Cloud Service Brokerage team. The Cloud Services Brokerage is the single interface between the cloud providers and the group providing combined technology, people and methodologies to ensure Visma’s place as one of the leading cloud software providers in Europe. Tasks:

• Architecture Reviews
• Support both internal and visma external teams with Cloud Architecture
•  Assess and plan Cloud Architecture on an organizational level
• Participate in cross organization Product Development Architecture Board
•  General support and discussions in the Visma IT Architecture Board
•  Establish Public Cloud building blocks for reuse Besides the Public Cloud Architect role, the person who gets this position needs to fulfill another role as well - System Manager Public Cloud. The main responsibilities are: Technical Account Manager * Function as a primary Technical contact on anything related to Public Cloud for internal Visma teams.
•  Function as a technical link between Visma teams and Vendors.
• Follow up with Vendors on the technical plane
• Assist Finance in tracking down and solving issues with automated billing related to Public Cloud.
• General support Service Managers with customer requests related to Public Cloud
• Assist Service Owner where needed Tech Lead - Cloud Services Brokerage
• Technical responsible for all top accounts in public cloud
• Research and develop value adding services in the Public Cloud field
• Evaluate and implement various vendor related programs and initiatives
• Perform FinOps on an Organizational Level
• Ensure that Queue and day to day activities in the Cloud Brokerage is properly handled
• Ensure that Cloud Brokerage activities are properly documented and performed.
• Ensure that credentials used for top accounts are secured
• Work towards automation and simplification
• Train and support operational resources. Cloud Centre of Excellence Resource
• Support in various VCOM cloud projects
• Support Solutions Squad with challenges/decisions.
• Accelerate VIT teams in their journey to Public Cloud

Your skills:

• Minimum 3 years' further education, . BSc or MSc in Economy or IT
• Hands on experience with Public Cloud, especially AWS, but Azure and Google Cloud Platform experience would be an additional advantage
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar Cloud Architect position
• Customer-oriented behaviour
• Genuine drive to deliver quality and continuously improve the performance
• Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities
• Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace
• Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations
• Certified in ITIL
• Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations
• Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
• Negotiation capabilities and problem solving mindset
• Strong skills in communication and cooperation
• Fluency in English is required
