Job role

The Compliance Experts provides support and advice for Allianz Technology SE in establishment, implementation and maintenance of  an effective compliance program for AZ Technology SE and its majority owned affiliates to (i) advise on how to comply with rules and regulations and (ii)  prevent and detect illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate, implement and monitor individual Compliance programs for the Allianz Technology Group globally;
• Provide continuous support and training for global Compliance community;
• Ensure that ongoing monitoring activities are established and performed 
• Ensure that investigations and on-site reviews are carried out in line with legal, compliance policy and regulatory requirements
• Provide and prepare reports on several Compliance topics;

Requirements

• Strong academic background (master/university diploma or degree in economics, legal or similar disciplines)
• At lest 3 years experience of working in compliance, governance and/or audit functions (preferably in a financial, audit, insurance or consultancy company) ;
• An excellent understanding of compliance and corporate governance frameworks and their implementation;
• Understanding of the requirements of the Solvency II and GDPR regime;
• A good understanding of process & control design and re-engineering principles;
• Proven experience in risk analysis and controls frameworks
• Compliance certifications (ICA) will be an advantage;
• Proven command of the English language (verbal and written);
• Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills;
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey compliance and corporate governance issues effectively;
• Awareness of the business impact, the need for and justification of compliance and corporate governance;
• Ability to communicate and explain the context of need for control, regulations etc. and the benefits of taking action.
