Compliance Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the compliance process in Romanian companies from KRUK Group;
• Cooperation with legal team, personal data protection officer, operational risk management team and audit (internal and external) in the process of identifying, measuring, monitoring and reporting the compliance risk, including also compliance risk in business processes and products;
• Designing, updating and implementing processes and mechanisms for managing the compliance risk;
• Preparation and submission of regular reports for the General Director and the Head of Compliance Officer in Poland on the assessment of the compliance risk;
• Implementing and maintaining standards and procedures for compliance program in the organization;
• Monitoring changes in the law affecting the activities of the organization, informing the relevant units about them and providing support in implementing changes in processes resulting from the requirements of the changing law;
• Performing cyclical assessments of the organization's activities in terms of compliance;
• Ongoing advice to the Director General on compliance risk.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree, preferably legal;
• English - fluent in speech and writing;
• Experience in a similar role in compliance, audit or internal control departments in the financial industry;
• General knowledge of the debt collection industry and debt management;
• Knowledge of legal requirements, standards and trends in the consumer finance industry;
• Experience in implementing procedures and control mechanisms related to compliance risk management;
• Very good interpersonal skills;
• High level of problem-solving skills and proactive search for solutions;
• Experience in using compliance risk indicators and their reporting, conducting projects in the area of compliance or legal as well as experience in contacts and cooperation with regulators are welcome.
