Construction Manager

We are seeking a motivated Construction Manager for a construction site in Prahova county.

The work will take place at our client's location. You will be tasked to liaise with the instillation & commissioning team to complete all activities.

Responsabilities:

• Drive planning of day to day activities for all contractors on site 

• Developing and deploying tools for digital methods for Project Schedule tracking 

• Developing and Deploying Digital tools for Construction Management 

• Deploying new construction execution strategies . Lean Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach for the project 

• Oversee, manage and direct construction projects from begging to end 

• Review and monitor the project in-depth 

• Ensure schedule of all the deliverables  

• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status 

• Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones 

• Monitor and guide compliance with building and safety regulations 

• Train and give feedback to construction workers and subcontractors 

• Always ensure quality construction standards 

What are we looking for:

Technical skills

• Higher education in Civil engineering
• 5+ years of experience as Civil engineer / Site Manager 
• Construction site supervisor certification (diriginte de santier) is a plus
• English language - independent user (B1 or higher)
• CAD tools knowledge ( Autocad or equivalent) is an advantage
• Previous industrial projects experience is a must
• Proficient in managing multiple assignments, setting and balancing competing priorities with strong organizational skills and ability to multi task
• Knowledge of job-site safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance

Soft skills

• Professional & energetic person, with good team-working skills & with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to use own initiative and work with limited supervision
• Ability to prioritize & plan-ahead work tasks to meet deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed
