Within our divisional Tires IT, the Competence Center Manufacturing is responsible for all IT systems in Continental's worldwide Tire plants. For our location Hanover we are looking for a (senior) consultant (m/f/diverse) to strengthen our SAP EWM team.

In this position you will take over responsibility for:

• Conception, design and implementation of processes, applications and interfaces in the area of SAP EWM with special consideration of future requirements and technologies (Industry , Digitalization)
• Coordination of development and maintenance activities
• Execution and approval of functional tests and creation of technical documentation
• Conducting trainings in cooperation with the global support organization and Key Users
• Management of internal projects and global rollouts in our plants
• Worldwide coordination and communication with our internal and external interfaces in order to continuously improve our material flow systems and processes

Qualifications

Your qualifications:

• Completed academic degree in computer science, business administration or an equivalent qualification
• Relevant work experience or working experience as a consultant in an industrial company
• Your software knowledge: Very good knowledge of SAP EWM, Other SAP modules (MM, SD, APO, PP) beneficial
• Good programming skills in ABAP OO and XML, knowledge of UI5 beneficial
• First experience in project management
• Fluent knowledge of English and good knowledge of German language

The Tire division is known for maximizing safety through short braking distances and excellent grip as well as reducing fuel consumption by minimizing rolling resistance. Tires are the vehicle’s only link with the road. They transmit all forces onto the road. It is the tire technology that determines whether a vehicle is able to stop in time and stay in the correct lane during cornering maneuvers.
