Business Environment:     

 

The scope of the Content Management organization is to be a central service, which aims to manage the content that is dedicated to being published in several systems. Content Management is a set of processes that will transform the content and make it ready for publishing. Each process is supported with the specific internal application for which the company will provide initial training.

 

PRISM is the Content Management solution (application) which supports the management of the Core product information to deliver content for online and offline publication purposes, in English and other translated languages. The core product information covers the re-usable information (chunks) of our products (Messaging, Features, Technical specifications, accessories, and compatibilities). A Chunk is a piece of information that is categorized by additional information (Metadata).

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Content Administrator (.) is responsible to execute the content management activities for his own line of business, by populating PRISM with chunks for all products in the concerned business, with the expected quality (time, completeness, accuracy).

 

To do this, he/she relies on the work prepared by the Content Acquisition Lead (CAL) and Ops Manager (OM):

  • PRISM content delivery according to BU TATs, the success rate for NPI`s (New Product Introduction launches) >95%
  • Execute Content Management activities respecting the planning
  • Work Closely with CAL to ensure overall planning and tasks execution
  • Escalate to CAL and/or OM in case of a problem
  • Execute Quality defined tasks
  • Control consistency between business rules and NPI
  • Follow the planning prepared by the CAL and OM
  • Execute the processes validated by the CAL and approved by the OM
  • Initialize PRISM, collaborate in the data acquisition, data validation, and translation
  • Report immediately to CAL all the problems, especially:
    • Quality problem (strange or suspect content)
    • Lack of responsiveness from a stakeholder (support, business, Product Manager, and so on)
    • Delay in any aspect (Translation Request, content validation, and so on)
    • Absence plan
  • Report to the CAL the new needs (new functionalities, developments, and so on)
  • Use reports to check the content quality

 

Performance criteria:

 

  • Quality of the content
  • Availability of the products
  • Availability of the product content
  • Respect of the schedule (based on the content roadmap)
    • Process usage
    • Reactivity to the expectations defined by the CAL
    • Proactively report to the CAL the new needs or the issues
    • Support calls treatment according to the process

 

Relationship:

  • Daily contact with content providers (Product Managers, NPI Launch managers, document owners, other business contacts)
  • First contact for issues raised from the quality process
  • Solve issues & feedback coming from the quality process
  • Occasionally train directly colleagues or business people

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

(Knowledge, skills, experience)

Bachelors or undergraduate degree

Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Fluent English (written and spoken), excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Technical sensibility (database, content, and web) is a plus

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure unsupervised

Organized, able to manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
