Continuous Improvement Manager Logistics

Here, at DSV Solutions, we are looking for a process improvement professional who will develop and update appropriate policies and procedures for identifying, evaluating, measuring, controlling and improving our business processes.

The successful candidate will be driving quality to improve and preserve the highest standards for our business processes, will provide recommendations and come up with projects to drive continuous improvements.

The general purpose of the job:
Initiation, coordination, implementation of improvement projects, as well as subsequent monitoring of the results, in order to increase the labor productivity and profitability, as well as the efficiency in operating the deposits, all according to the annual budgeted targets

The objectives of the job:
- Proposes plans and projects for continuous improvement, in order to reach the targets assumed annually regarding the profitability of handling and storage;
- Ensures the management of all continuous improvement projects, being responsible for their progress;
- Ensures good communication with the colleagues involved, in all respects related to the development of continuous improvement projects;
- Monitors the performance of improvement projects, in order to achieve the planned results.

We expect you to have:
a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; business or technical background is considered an advantage;
excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and influence work behaviors;
demonstrated problem solving and analytical capability; expertise in analysis, synthesis and planning;
excellent project management skills; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification would be a plus;
PRINCE2 Project Management certification would be a plus.
