Core Databuild Engineer

For our new services and operations center in Romania we are now looking for a motivated team player as Core Databuild Engineer. With your service-oriented and analytical way of working and your strong sense for quality you support the team in order to reach the set target in the most efficient and professional manner.

Main tasks

• Replacement of legacy MSC equipment to MSC Blade Cluster
• Part of the databuild team preparing data for the re-parenting of BSC/RNC equipment
• Testing of voice core network elements
• Conduct data validation / auditing processes and interactions which are required for new element integration
• Support network operations in faulting customer affecting failures and reduce customer lost hours
• Ensure data integrity across the network with Ericsson mobile network core databuild techniques MSC-S, MBC, HLR, HSS, MGW, STP, MME
• Willingness to travel within Europe if required

Required compentencies

• BA/BSc degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong technical background in the Telecommuniations and/or Data Network field as well as an understanding of all key elements that make up a mobile network
• At least 2 years of experience in Voice Core Databuilding using Ericsson equipment is mandatory
• Good knowledge and understanding of data script building tools (. Ericsson)
• Knowledge of the Ericsson IMS core databuild techniques
• Experience of the Magnet Plus and Remedy system is an advantage
• Fluent English spoken and written
