Purpose of the job
The purpose of this job is to provide cost analysis and support, perform monthly closing activities, assist in preparing the annual budgets and forecast plans and provide reporting tied in with these processes of Ferosan company, part of GSK.

Key accountabilities:
· Maintain and update standard cost to ensure proper cost of goods sold results and accurate inventory costing / valuation;
· Prepare, analyze and report monthly and ad-hoc manufacturing variances and production activities;
· Assist in month-end closing, prepare and post journal entries as necessary;
· Reconcile applicable balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis;
· Support Annual Budget process;
· Prepare detailed account analysis on sales, COGS and inventory;
· Analyze OPEX and recoveries deviations from the budget and identify cost reduction opportunities;
· Interface with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain Departments on cost matters;
· Assist with cost estimation for new launch projects;
· Ensure Purchase Order closure process robustness;
· Participate to distressed inventory meetings and follow-up on scrap process;
· Assist with yearly cycle count/physical inventories;
· Maintain internal control documentation;
· Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others;
· Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, sales and cost;
Support continuous process improvement.
Ideal candidate:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration;
· Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 3 or more years of related experience;
· Specific knowledge of cost accounting concepts to include standard or actual cost systems and manufacturing variances;
· Able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis;
· Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data;
· Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills;
· Microsoft Office Products experience required with Excel proficiency a must;
· Strong organizational and communication skills;
· Detail oriented;
· Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and Cognos/equivalent systems preferred;
· Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
